Denise E. Carter is an associate in the Pasadena office.
Her primary practice area is civil litigation representing
the Boards of Trustees of multi-employer trust funds in federal
court regarding the collection of unpaid fringe benefits.
Her experience also includes corporate transactions.
Ms. Carter completed her Juris Doctor degree at Loyola Law
School while working full-time for a Fortune 100 pension
and finance organization, where she lectured widely on finance
and money management. Her prior work experience also includes
negotiating and documenting contracts with major defense
contractors. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the
University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Master of Business
Administration from the University of Denver.
Ms. Carter is licensed to practice in law in California
in all state courts and the Central District of the United
States District Court. She sits on the board of the Langston
Bar Association, which promotes diversity in the legal profession
and the promulgation of civil and human rights. In addition,
she is actively involved with the Loyola Law School career
services department, and continues to address women's groups
and teens on matters of financial literacy.
