Matthew T. Bechtel is an associate in the firm's Pasadena office. He is a civil litigator focusing primarily on employee benefits law. He also has experience with business litigation and general employment law.

Matthew is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts (Music). He obtained his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. While in law school Matthew was the Production Editor for the Hastings Communications and Entertainment Law Journal.

Matthew joined the firm in 2009. He is licensed to practice law in California in all state courts and the Central District of the United States District Court.
