An AV rated attorney, Susan Graham Lovelace is a partner
working out of the Pasadena office. She is
a civil litigator whose practice primarily involves employee
benefits, employment, business litigation and appellate work
in both the state and federal courts. Her main clients include
multi-employer trust funds and privately held businesses.
In the area of employment, Ms. Lovelace represents clients
in lawsuits concerning discrimination, harassment, wrongful
termination, ERISA, wage and hour disputes and employee benefits.
She also drafts employee handbooks, provides sexual harassment
training, and negotiates severance packages and other employment
related contracts. She has tried both jury and non-jury cases
in court, and has argued before the California Courts of
Appeal.
Ms. Lovelace obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola
Law School in Los Angeles, and is a cum laude graduate
of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where she received
a Bachelor of Arts degree. She joined the firm in 2003 after
practicing at two civil litigation firms. In 2007, she became
a partner at the firm.
Ms. Lovelace arbitrates matters pro bono for the
Los Angeles County ADR program, and is a member of the Los
Angeles County Bar Association and the Association of Trial
Lawyers of America.
She is licensed to practice in all state and federal district
courts in California.
