Monique N. Rodriguez is an Associate Attorney based at the firm’s Las Vegas office. She concentrates in her practice in the areas of labor and employment law. She represents clients in federal courts, Nevada state court, and before administrative agencies.
Ms. Rodriguez graduated from Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. She concurrently earned a B.A. in Anthropology and a B.A. in History from University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma in 2016 and graduated summa cum laude. Prior to law school, she worked for various grassroots political organizations as a field organizer and for a non-profit organization contracted with the Department of Juvenile Justice Services of Clark County to provide mentorship services to at-risk youth.
She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law in 2024. During law school, she was a moot court member of the Society of Advocates. Ms. Rodriguez’s performance in moot court competitions earned her the 2024 Trailblazer Award for Dedication and Excellence in Moot Court. She received the Community Service Program Outstanding Student Scholarship in the summer of 2022 for her work with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada in offering informational sessions on tenants’ rights to the public, and she participated in the Partners in Pro Bono program in fall of 2022. She was also a State Bar of Nevada Professional Development Fellow in 2022. She externed for Department 4 of the Las Vegas Justice Court Township in 2022 and for the Nevada Office of the Labor Commissioner in 2024. She also worked as a law clerk for various firms in Las Vegas throughout her time as a student, including for the City Attorney’s Office of the City of Henderson, Civil Division.
Following law school, she worked as an Honors Attorney for the National Labor Relations Board. In that role, she investigated unfair labor practice charges and litigated them on behalf of the federal government.
She is a Las Vegas native who enjoys reading, appreciating and making art, spending time with her family in Las Vegas and in Puerto Rico, and taking walks with her dog.
